Things to do with old glass windows (Part 1)

Got some old windows hanging around?
Want to know what to do with them?
Here are some things I've done with old glass windows.
For part 1, I'll just be showing you the one's I've painted.
As you can tell this is a dove.
One of my favorite birds to paint.

Of course I have to do a moon
since that's my last name.

I thought this would be great in a coffee cafe.
I don't have a coffee cafe but I love how colorful it is.
It ended up in my daughters dining room.
So colorful, she loves it.

This was the very first window I ever painted.
It used to hang on our garage.
We had a very bad storm and it was blown off.
And broken:(

This hung on the garage also.
It survived the storm.

Here is a snowman that I put up every year at Christmas.
He's so happy.

I love birdhouses.
This hangs at the end of my front porch.

I also love birdnests.
This hangs at the other end of my porch.

This is one I did for a little girls room.

This is one for a little boys room.
The light blue is really prettier then it shows in the picture.

One of my favorite.
The red geraniums.
It hangs on my back porch in the summer.

This Luna Moth I painted for my mom and dad.
They hang it in their gazebo.

And of course I had to paint some chickens.
This hangs out in the chicken run.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of things to do with glass windows.

For God, who said,
"Let light shine out of darkness,"
made his light shine in our hearts...

  7. I'm really loving the geraniums! What kind of paint do you use to allow them to hang outside?

  8. Thanks. I use an enamel glass paint most of the time, but I have used just regular acrylic paint on some and had good results. Most of the windows hang under an eve so they get a little protection.
