New Egg Basket

I finally found something to keep my multitude of eggs in.
Since I don't refrigerate my eggs, they were usually
in multiple bowls on the island.
I wanted something functional, but pretty of course.
This is what I found.

I was looking for an old French wire tiered egg basket.
It would hold about 2 dozen eggs in
individual wire cups. It's really a neat piece. But
I couldn't find one. So I thought this was the next best thing.

 It's a 2 tiered wire fruit basket.
I found it at Sur La Table.

It holds a lot of eggs and looks
beautiful sitting on my turquoise piano island.

    1. Those are a light green egg from my Americana, Sadie. Although the inside of the shell is a beautiful light blue.

    1. I've kept them for weeks at a time. As long as you don't wash them. If you wash eggs it removes the bloom which is naturally on the egg. The bloom seals the egg and keeps bacteria from entering the pores of the eggs. Have a good week.
