DECORATIONS FOR THE SEASON

Well hello everyone and Happy Holidays.
It's been quite a while since my last post. If you've continued
to check back, a big Thank You. I'm very grateful.
I thought I'd do something a little different ( just kidding) and show
you some of my Christmas decorations.  Tis the season
after all. I hope you will enjoy seeing them.
We'll start off in the dining room with my long mantel.
I went with a theme of trees because of the giant plants
I've got under my mantel.

As you can see they are rather big.

The large table that my dad and I built is one of my favorite things.

I've had this Nativity scene for so long.
It's handmade pottery.

I decided to hang all the stockings this year on my piano coat rack.

Now just a few random items.
This tree is in my bedroom.

A metal angel that I can keep up all year.

A wreath that's made up of this and that over the years.

And the star, the Christmas Tree.
The kids always decorate it after we have our Thanksgiving meal.
And then we do the pickle hunt.

This is in the family room.
It's kind of hard to decorate around a tv.

This is a close up of my little banner.

Here are a few pics of the front porch.

Now we've moved to the open back porch.

Another angle.

And of course the chickens get there place decorated also.

Hope you enjoyed my Christmas tour.
From my house to yours a very Merry Christmas!

Remember the reason for the season.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only Son, that whoever believes in him should
not perish but have eternal life.
