Among the many things to do on my spring list,
repainting the rocking chairs on the play house porch was near the top.
As you can see they desperately needed a paint job.
After scraping, sanding and needed preparation was done.....
This was the final result.
Turquoise is such a happy color.
They look almost new.
Another job I can check off my list!
Rejoice always!

Did you use spray paint or regular paint for the chairs?
ReplyDeleteI spray painted the woven part first because I thought it would get into the crevices better but I also put a coat of paint with the brush afterwards. The rest of the chair I also painted with a brush.
DeleteYou did a lovely job on the old rocking chair, it came out great. I love when I can make old new again. Thank you for sharing with the Clever Chicks Blog Hop! I hope you’ll join us again next week!

I love the new color. How amazing that it was that easy to make it look so good again. Thank you for sharing this at the HomeAcre Hop; I hope you'll join us again this Thursday.

I love the color too. We were able to squeeze another year out of our old wicker furniture by painting it.
