The power of paint

Among the many things to do on my spring list,
repainting the rocking chairs on the play house porch was near the top.
As you can see they desperately needed a paint job.

After scraping, sanding and needed preparation was done.....

This was the final result.

Turquoise is such a happy color.
They look almost new.

Another job I can check off my list!

Rejoice always!

  1. Did you use spray paint or regular paint for the chairs?

    1. I spray painted the woven part first because I thought it would get into the crevices better but I also put a coat of paint with the brush afterwards. The rest of the chair I also painted with a brush.

  4. I love the color too. We were able to squeeze another year out of our old wicker furniture by painting it.
